Dr. Vicki Baker graduated with distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Oklahoma City campus. There she received her specialty training in medical oncology and hematology. Throughout her academic career, Dr. Baker received numerous distinguishing awards for academic excellence. Most notable was the Solomon Papper Humane Scholar Award, given in recognition of her scholarly concern for people during medical school. Since being in practice, she has served on numerous committees and has been appointed to several offices by her peers.  She has served as president of the Oklahoma Society of Clinical Oncology and as a member of the national Clinical Practice Committee for the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
