Blood and Marrow Transplantation Update

We are pleased to provide you with a brief description of the Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program of the Natalie Warren Bryant Cancer Center at Saint Francis Hospital. The information contained in this section of our Site is an overview of the marrow transplantation process for patient evaluation, workup, and transplantation.

The Blood and Marrow Transplantation program has become a major component of our clinical and research efforts at Oklahoma Oncology.

The mission of our program is to provide excellent personal care for patients and families. As can be seen in these pages, our program consists of a team of outstanding clinical and research physicians, nurses, physical therapists, laboratory technicians, occupational therapists, pharmacists, social workers, dietitians, recreational therapists, and clergy whose goal is the comprehensive care of the patient in both the inpatient and outpatient environment.

We anticipate being able to meet the needs of a special group of patients and to continue in the forefront of developing new and improved treatment regimens. We all look forward to the challenge of the future -- the ongoing effort to eradicate cancers in their entirety.

Please do not hesitate to call us with any questions you may have concerning our program.
