Dr. Lynch has been active in clinical research related to blood and marrow transplantation since 1991. He has served as principal investigator and co-investigator for numerous studies and has performed the full range of blood and marrow stem cell transplants. His work has also been published extensively in various journals and presented at seminars throughout the United States. Dr. Lynch received his medical degree from Georgetown University, Washington, DC. He served his internship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and his residency in internal medicine at West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV. 
Following completion of his residency, he served a medical oncology fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital, Medical College of Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, PA, and then served as visiting fellow in the bone marrow transplantation program at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, WA. Following that training, he served a fellowship in bone marrow transplantation with the University of Louisville, Louisville, KY. Dr. Lynch served as associate professor of medicine in the section of hematology and oncology and as the director of the Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center, West Virginia University.

Dr. Lynch joined Oklahoma Oncology in 1999. Dr. Lynch is the medical director of the Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program, Natalie Warren Bryant Cancer Center, Saint Francis Health System, and he also serves as principal investigator for the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group.
