Dr. Leslie K. Walker joined Oklahoma Oncology in August 2006. She received her undergraduate degree from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, and her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, OU School of Medicine in May 2000. Her internal medicine internship and residency was at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin. In June 2006, Dr. Walker completed her medical oncology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin. She has publications in the areas of malignant melanoma and advanced prostate cancer resulting from research she did during her fellowship. She was a staff physician in the Department of Medicine at the William S.
